and so it's 2008, finally.
my only resolution.
i hate 2007. i hope 2008 would be a much better year for me! (:
the last day of 2007 was spent with 2 of my very close group of friends. :D it was a blast for me, totally!
firstly met up with the je babes. surprisingly they weren't extremely late. haha, we took a train down to raffles city shopping centre. the other 3 babes were late! anyway, sushi tei's queue was rather long. lunch crowd. so we queued first but managed to get a nice seat with nice ambience within 20 mins. haha. :x we were rotting and moulding and stoning away and hungry too! waited for eeen, bel and yx to reach. ordered our food and we were really budgeted. HAHAHA. 5 of us ordered don so that it would be filling. and we planted our asses there from 2-5pm!! :D throughout the 3 hours, we ate we laughed we talked we bimbo-ed we quarrelled we lamed. NON-STOP! i tell you, i've never regretted knowing this bunch of girls. i swear! after lunch, besties parted. the rest of us walked over to the esplanade to see how the atmosphere was like. leaving myself yx and bel to fret over what to do for the next few hours cause we got pangseh-ed and i was waiting for the gang to arrive. anyway we chatted there screaming away cause there was a band playing and the music was super loud! :x around 5+, litchie and eeen bidded goodbye as well. the 3 of us then went to pacific coffee company for a drink and chat to kill time. bel then left us at 6plus. so the 2 yixuans were officially pangseh-ed and we continued our own conversation. :)
after that the gang came, FINALLY. and i brought yx to meet new friends. hahahaha! met them at yuki yaki. cheeps wanted good food. but the queue was really long. and we can only get a table at 9pm which is 2hrs later! so we decided to hop around and look for other food outlets. headed down to suntec instead. wanted to try a japanese restaurant, but it was really packed as well. in the end we settled for pizza hut! haha. myself and yx didnt eat much though. was still really full after sushi tei and pcc. they couldnt finish the food they ordered so we played 21! it's a new and fun game i just learnt 2 days back. hahahaha and geminis rule the game man :D after dinner we left and yx left us as well. she didnt want to be squeezed in the crowd. we made our way through the crowd. sadly with only 1 guy and 4 girls. hahaha =.- they were freaking lots of bangs i swear. we managed to find a nice spot along the road that they closed for cars and opened up for public! rather nice place and i think they controlled the crowd entering or something cause it was rather spacious and not packed at all. we planted our butts there and played 41 all the way till midnight! haha, cant blame us for that. killing time. and sm said she kinda regretted paying attention during GP! hahaha. that was really random. anyway, the fireworks were really nice. we could stand there with ample space and without being squeezed and worried about being touched. whole 8 mins! really pretty! i really love fireworks. it brings back lots of wonderful happy memories for me! :)
we headed out towards marina. the crowd leaving was expected. jams at the various exits. and the police made many barricades blocking certain ways and routes making things very difficult for us. we sat by esplanade for almost 30mins hoping the crowd would clear a little before we made our way out again. and the bangs are totally horrible. myself sm and cheryl swore that we would get a BF. hahaha! anyway we managed to walk, i repeat WALK all the way to plaza sing. to get rid of the crowd. daddy and mummy came to pick me and gave sm and angela a lift home right to their doorstep in his new car. hahahaha. :D reached home at 3am.
